SimpliSolar is a Malaysian-based clean energy company delivering residential, commercial and industrial solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), EV charging infrastructure and integrated energy solutions. From day one, we have taken an engineering-first approach, designing and delivering systems that must perform safely, reliably and predictably in real operating environments.
What began with residential and small commercial rooftops has evolved into a full-fledged EPCC platform serving commercial, industrial and institutional clients nationwide while deliberately building the capabilities, governance and execution discipline required for regional Southeast Asia expansion and long-term institutional readiness.

2026 & Beyond
Platform-Driven Growth
Building on proven execution and system integration, SimpliSolar advances toward full energy cost optimisation through BESS-enabled MD shaving, EV charging infrastructure and EMS coordination across Solar, storage and loads. This phase strengthens the platform for disciplined regional expansion and long-term capital market readiness, grounded in capabilities already built and credibility already earned.
2022-2025
Scaling With Control
With a proven delivery model in place, we scaled confidently surpassing 650 projects nationwide, designing >80 MWp and installing >30 MWp, achieving zero major safety incidents and expanding into hybrid PV + BESS and Industry-4.0-ready platforms.
2019-2021
Building Execution Discipline
As project volume increased, we formalised operating discipline: safety systems, repeatable delivery frameworks and lifecycle accountability. This period cemented a strong safety record and >95% client retention for O&M services.
2016-2018
Proving Industrial Readiness
We delivered our first industrial-scale PV installations and established long-term O&M contracts, demonstrating that our systems, processes and teams could perform reliably beyond initial commissioning.
2012-2015
Building Depth Before Scale
Rather than rushing into larger projects, we strengthened in-house engineering, QA/QC and project management capabilities, secured key regulatory registrations (SEDA, ST, CIDB) and prepared the organisation for commercial and industrial (C&I) complexity.
2009-2011
Foundation
We established SimpliSolar as an EPCC provider focused on solar PV and energy efficiency, delivering residential and small commercial rooftop systems while building our core engineering, installation and compliance fundamentals.
Where We Are Deliberately Headed
As energy systems grow more complex and cost pressures intensify, our roadmap reflects a deliberate progression from solving today’s demand-charge challenges to building a full energy cost optimisation ecosystem:
- Integrating BESS for Maximum Demand (MD) shaving
- Scaling EV charging infrastructure for industrial and commercial clients
- Deploying EMS platforms to coordinate Solar + BESS + load profiles
- Advancing toward AI-enabled optimisation for tariff and network cost reduction
