This is why we are revisiting a post first shared in June 2022. At that time, rooftop solar adoption in Malaysia was still at an early stage. Looking back, this approach proved prescient. As solar moved from niche to mainstream, the same fundamentals continue to shape successful projects:

Today as Malaysia pushes towards higher renewable energy targets and more complex energy systems, these basics remain just as relevant, especially for homeowners and SMEs entering the solar journey for the first time.
